LEAP Halloween Festival

We welcome any family from the community (not just LEAP participants), volunteers, and donations of candy.

From Leap Leadership: Leadership, Education, Athletics in Partnership will once again hold its annual Halloween Festival for the kids of New Haven. LEAP has been putting on this event for the past ten years, so that parents to have an environment that is both safe and fun for their children. There will be a range of exciting activities for kids of all ages that include face painting, pumpkin painting, storytelling, a haunted house, and trick or treating. LEAP’s Halloween Festival usually has about 200-250 children/families in attendance. We welcome any family from the community (not just LEAP participants), volunteers, and donations of candy.

Where: LEAP’s Community Center, 31 Jefferson Street, New Haven, CT 06511.

When: Friday, October 26 th , 4:30-7:30pm

Who: LEAP is a non-profit organization that trains New Haven college and public high school students to work with younger children, providing a literacy based curriculum as well as classes in the arts, computer science, swimming, athletics, camping, cooking and team building. LEAPs mission is to develop the strengths and talents of young leaders who implement year-round, community and school-based programming designed to achieve positive academic and social outcomes for children living in high poverty urban neighborhoods. Since 1992, LEAP (www.leapforkids.org) has led the movement to provide children and youth with opportunities to thrive in all areas of their lives.
