Local Arts School Announces Biggest Summer Theatre Program 2019

In celebration of their 5th Summer Theatre Program for children and teens, New Haven Academy of Performing Arts and Broadway Dance East Haven have "RAISED THE BAR"!
In the summer of 2015 the two schools joined forces to offer a Broadway Style Summer Theatre Training Program called A Touch of Broadway . The program was designed to give students triple threat training and finished with a Broadway Style Cabaret to showcase what they learned. Since their first summer program in 2015 this team is constantly changing it up each year to make sure they could top the year before.
Flash forward 5 years! Their programs have trained hundreds of students and grown to be one of the most sought after and awarded training programs in CT. What has made their program so successful has been the ability of the teachers to teach the art of performing 100% hands on. Neil Fuentes says: "Here at our academy we do our best to provide our students and families with a positive experience they will never forget."
So what could they possible do to make it even bigger?.... This year they have changed the age ranges of students and will be offering two separate programs instead of one, PLUS they have added on an additional 2 musicals to total FOUR MUSICALS! The 2019 Summer Sessions will be:
SMALL STARS SUMMER MUSICAL THEATRE (New for 2019) AGES 5-9 Two Week Sessions

9am to 3pm Early Drop 8am and Late Pickup 5pm AvailableANNIE KIDS June 24th - July 6th
WONKA KIDS July 22nd - August 3rd

BROADWAY BOUND SUMMER MUSICAL THEATRE Ages 10-17 Three Week Sessions
ALL SHOOK UP June 24th - July 14th
Legally Blonde Jr July 22nd - August 11th
