Man Crashes Car Into Building In New Haven

NEW HAVEN, CT — A man was hospitalized after he crashed into a building in New Haven on Sunday evening. Police said the 28-year-old driver was driving a Honda Accord southbound on Quinnipiac Avenue around 7:45 p.m.

At a roundabout the driver lost control of the car on the icy road and crashed into a building at 336 Quinnipiac Ave. Both the car and the building were substantially damaged in the crash.

An investigating officer ticketed the driver for failure to drive in proper lane.

The driver was transported by ambulance to Yale New Haven Hospital for medical evaluation.
