Man In Critical Condition Following New Haven Hit-And-Run Crash
A pedestrian was seriously injured in a Thursday night wreck.
NEW HAVEN, CT — A 59-year-old pedestrian is in critical condition following a hit-and-run crash Thursday night, according to The New Haven Register. The accident occurred on Grand Avenue between Poplar and Ferry streets shortly before 10 p.m.
Police arrived to find the man severely injured lying in the road. He was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital, The Register reported. It's believed that a car traveling eastbound struck the pedestrian and drove off.
