New England Music Hall of Fame inducts Muddy Waters and Son

The mission for the New England Music Hall of Fame www.nemhof.com is to “Unite, Educate, Promote and Preserve” the integrity of New England music scene and the people who are in it. Angel Orsini , Christopher Annino, and Kadrolsha Ona Carole in 2019.

Both Muddy Waters and his son Mud Morganfield will be inducted into the New England Music Hall of Fame www.nemhof.com August 19th at the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center in Old Saybrook, Ct. https://www.katharinehepburntheater.org/events/mud-morganfield/

So far it has been announced the 2021 inductees for the New England Music Hall of Fame are Blues legend James Cotton, James Montgomery, John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band, Michael Tunes, Vic Steffens, Duke Robillard, and Emmy Award winning Composer Brian Keane. These individuals will be inducted in at a later date. It has been expressed that there will be to be announced throughout the summer.

Musician, singer, songwriter Muddy Waters, is one of the most important people in modern music history. He has inspired and influenced numerous musicians including Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, and The Beatles to name a few. Waters is one of very few musicians to be inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame www.rockhall.com, The Blues Hall of Fame, and The Grammy Hall of Fame.

His son Mud Morganfield has had his own success with his solo career and has properly followed in his father’s footsteps. Some of Mud Morganfield's albums include.

In 2015, his album, For Pops: A Tribute To Muddy Waters, won a Blues Music Award in the 'Traditional Blues Album' category.
