New Haven Man Charged With Production Of Child Pornography: Feds
A federal grand jury indicted Edward Walker, 48, on two counts of child porn. If convicted on both, he faces up to 60 years in prison.
NEW HAVEN, CT —A federal grand jury has indicted Edward Walker, 48, of New Haven, on two counts of production of child pornography, federal prosecutors said.
According to indictment, in June and July 2019, Walker knowingly employed, used, persuaded, induced, enticed, and coerced a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing two videos of that conduct, the Acting U.S. Attorney for Connecticut and FBI said in a news release Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Walker is currently in federal custody awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges in the Southern District of Florida. If convicted of the new charges in Connecticut, Walker faces a mandatory minimum term of imprisonment of 15 years and a maximum term of imprisonment of 30 years, on each count.
