Gunshot Hits Window At New Haven School
The school was on lockdown for a period Thursday morning.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Police are investigating after a window at a school was struck by gunfire, according to FOX 61. A rear at Achievement First Amistad High School on Dixwell Avenue was shot just after 8 a.m.
No injuries were reported. The school was on lockdown but that order has since been lifted, FOX 61 reported.
No students, faculty or staff were involved in the incident, NBC CT reported. The school is currently in hybrid mode with some students coming to school for classes.

The ShotSpotter alert of gunfire came from West Hazel Street between Dixwell Avenue and Sherman Parkway.
