New Haven Will Rocket From East Rock With Fireworks For Fourth
Fireworks are back - after the pandemic year scuttled the 2020 holiday pyrotechnic display - from the top of East Rock on Independence Day.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Fourth of July fireworks are back for 2021.
The city is celebrating the 4th of July with its annual fireworks display, scuttled last year due to the pandemic.
The show will be broadcast live on WTNH.com with the display starting just after 9 p.m. on Sunday, July 4. Official viewing is from Wilbur Cross High School, with music, and food trucks.

Organizers said that people will "see a great display from anywhere in the city with a view of the monument atop East Rock Park."
The summit of East Rock and the Davis Street/Farnum Drive parking lot will be closed July 4 for the event. In the event of rain the event will be held on July 5th - the decision will be made no later than 7 a.m. on July 4.
