Nominees Sought for SCSU Athletic Hall of Fame

NEW HAVEN, CT — Nominations are now being accepted for candidates for induction into the Southern Connecticut State University Alumni Sports Hall of Fame. Consisting of nearly 100 former student-athletes, coaches, administrators and contributors, the Alumni Sports Hall of Fame recognizes former student-athletes and coaches who have attained exemplary individual accomplishments during their careers.

The next Hall of Fame induction event will take place in the spring of 2019. The nomination period for this upcoming class will conclude on August 10, 2018.

In order to be eligible for nomination as a student-athlete, an individual must have attended SCSU and participated in a varsity sport for a minimum of two years. In addition, they must be out of the University for a minimum of 10 years. In order to be eligible for nomination as a coach, an individual must have served in that capacity for at least five years and left the University in good standing.

Individuals who would like to participate in the nomination process for Hall of Fame candidates can do so by contacting Michael Kobylanski, Associate Director of Athletics/Communications, via email at kobylanskim1@southernct.edu. Anyone wishing to provide a nomination can also access the form via the link at the top of the Hall of Fame page and return via email or standard mail to Michael Kobylanski.
