Obituary: Alejandro José Simone Piendibene, 50, of New Haven

Alejandro, a loving son and brother, worked at Jack's Steak House in New Haven.

NEW HAVEN, CT - (From Washington Memorial Funeral Home) Alejandro José Simone Piendibene, 50 of New Haven, formerly of Norwalk died suddenly on Monday, February 15, 2021.

Alejandro was born in Montevideo, Uruguay on February 17, 1970, a son of José Alejo Simone of Montevideo and the late Myriam Piendibene.

He immigrated to the United States in 2000, residing in Queens, NY for three years. He then moved to Norwalk where he lived for fifteen years, and had resided in Hamden for the past two years.

Alejandro worked at Jack’s Steak House in New Haven for two years, and was an Uber driver for the past year.

He is also survived by his sister Maria Cecilia Simone, and a nephew Nicolás Calvo of Montevideo, and a host of relatives and friends.

Calling hours for Alejandro will take place on Sunday, February 21st from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.

A prayer service will take place at the funeral home during that time. Burial will be private.
