Obituary: Felix Manuel Rivera, Jr., 42, of New Haven
Felix, a loving son, brother, uncle and friend to many, worked as a freelance tattoo artist.
NEW HAVEN, CT - (From Washington Memorial Funeral Home) Felix Manuel Rivera, Jr., 42 of New Haven died suddenly at his home on Monday, May 17, 2021.
Felix was born in New Haven on May 27, 1978, a son of Felix Manuel Rivera, Sr. of Orlando, Florida, and Ana Oliveras of New Haven. He had lived most of his life in New Haven, but had also resided in Orlando for fifteen years.
Felix was a freelance tattoo artist.
He is also survived by her step-father Clotilde RodrÃguez of New Haven, five sisters, Koanaki (José) Mercado of Citrus Springs, FL, Shannon Nicole Rivera and Nephritiri Rivera of Broward, FL, Abigail Rivera of New Haven and Aida Ardemis Rivera of North Miami Beach, FL, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Felix's family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, May 23rd from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
His funeral procession will leave from the funeral home on Monday, May 24th at 10:15 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish (St. Francis of Assisi Church) 397 Ferry St., New Haven.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven.
