Not much of a surprise, but readers overwhelmingly agreed that Connecticut’s mask mandate should stay with 80 percent strongly agreeing or agreeing to keep it. Lamont announced that the mandate would be in place for a while. Some states like Texas have ended mask mandates along with capacity restrictions.
Around half of readers who took the survey said they thought it was too soon to end capacity restrictions. Another 29 percent felt the timing was right and 16 percent said the restrictions should have been ended sooner.
