Pedestrian Struck, Killed By FedEx Truck In New Haven
A woman died in a Thursday night crash.
NEW HAVEN, CT — Police are investigating after a 56-year-old woman was struck and killed in a Thursday night crash, WTNH reported. The accident occurred at 5:30 p.m. when the woman was crossing Chapel Street and was hit by a FedEx truck, which then turned right onto Temple Street.
The truck driver, a 31-year-old Bridgeport man, is cooperating with the investigation. The intersection was closed for several hours for investigation but has since been reopened, according to WTNH.
