NEW HAVEN, CT — The legendary Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana is letting fans know that they are open for takeout and delivery as the state deals with the new coronavirus crisis. The Pepe’s locations in New Haven, Fairfield, Danbury, Manchester, West Hartford, and Waterbury are currently operating for takeout and delivery.

“Frank Pepe’s is known for using the freshest ingredients and a coal fire oven to give their pizzas their famous crisp, charred, chewy crust that everyone knows and loves,” according to a news release. “Customers can call in to their local Pepe’s restaurant for takeout or can use the online order form on the website for even easier convenience. Pepe’s is also partnered with DoorDash who is offering free delivery for a limited time. The Pepe’s family is working tirelessly to ensure that all of your pizza needs are taken care of whether tonight's menu calls for an Original Tomato Pie with Mozzarella or the mouth-watering Veggie Special.”

Pepe Pizzeria was founded in 1925 at 163 Wooster St. by Italian immigrant Frank Pepe. The restaurant consistently ranks high in national pizza "best of" lists. For the past three years Pepe's has been ranked number 1 on The Daily Meal's 101 Best Pizzas in America list.
