Police Identify New Haven Man, 37, Killed In Weekend Shooting
Police said Miguel Ramos was gunned down on Springside Avenue in the pre-dawn hours Saturday.
NEW HAVEN, CT — Miguel Ramos, 37, of New Haven was shot and killed on Springside Avenue in the pre-dawn hours Saturday, police said.
It was around 4:20 a.m. when police got several 911 calls about a man being shot. In the hours before, police had already responded to two other shootings that left a total of three with non-life threatening gunshot wounds. Ramos, found on the 100 block of Springside Avenue in the West Rock neighborhood, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The weekend saw several shootings. Two 28-year-old New Haven men were shot on 18-year-old New Haven man was shot on Button Street, between Lamberton Street and Rosette Street.
