Police Investigating Monday Night Stabbing On Center Street

A 32-year-old city man was stabbed "multiple" times on Center Street at around 10 p.m., police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT —Monday night around 10 p.m., police got a 911 call about a person who was stabbed on Center Street, between Church and Orange streets, police said.

According to New Haven police spokesperson officer Scott Shumway, officers found a 32-year-old New Haven man suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and was listed in stable condition.

Police ask that any witnesses who have not yet spoken with investigators call the New Haven Police Department Investigative Services Division at 203-946-6304.
