Police Looking For Public's Help On Goffe Street Shooting
Police found a 16-year-old boy with a single non-life-threatening gunshot wound on Goffe between Orchard and Sperry streets Wednesday.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Early Wednesday evening, a Shotspotter alert and a 911 call brought police to a Goffe Street for a report of a person who was shot.
When police got to Goffe between Orchard and Sperry streets, they found a 16-year-old boy with a single gunshot wound, according to New Haven police spokesperson officer Scott Shumway. He said the teen's injury was non-life threatening.
Police ask that any witnesses —who can remain anonymous — who have not yet spoken with investigators call 203-946-6304 or submit tips anonymously by calling 1-866-888-TIPS(8477), or text “NHPD plus your message” to 274637 (CRIMES)
