West Haven 16-Year-Old Shot In New Haven: Police

Sunday afternoon, a West Haven teenager was shot "multiple" times on Clinton Avenue, police said. Not named, he's in stable condition.

NEW HAVEN, CT —Sunday afternoon around 2:30 p.m., police got 911 calls about a shooting on Clinton Avenue, between Bailey Street and Dover Street. When cops got there, they found a 16-year-old from West Haven who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, New Haven police spokesperson officer Scott Shumway said.

The teen was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital where he was listed in stable condition, Shumway said.

Police ask that any witnesses who have not yet spoken with investigators call the New Haven Police Department Investigative Services Division at 203-946-6304.
