Victim In New London Fatal Crash Identified: Police
The accident occurred in the early morning hours Friday.
NEW LONDON, CT — One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash around 1:40 a.m. Friday near Pequot and Glenwood avenues, New London police said.
The driver was identified as Jose Sancho, 28, of New London, police said.
"The New London Police Department extends our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Sancho," police said.

Pequot Avenue was currently closed between Quinnepeag Avenue and Chapel Drive. A portion of Glenwood Avenue between Montauk Avenue and Pequot Avenue was also closed Friday morning.
The accident remains under investigation.
