New London Man Charged With Drug, Gun Crimes: Police
A man was charged following a search of his hotel room earlier this week.
NEW LONDON, CT — A New London man was charged with drug and gun crimes earlier this week, according to police. Dwayne Todd, 33, was charged with two counts each of criminal possession of a firearm, possession of narcotics, and possession of narcotics with intent to sell, and one count of operating a drug factory and altering identifying marks on a firearm.
State and local police executed a search of Todd's room at the Clarion Inn at 269 N. Frontage Road Tuesday at 11:03 a.m. The search followed an investigation into illicit drug activity in New London.
Police seized two loaded handguns, crack cocaine, powder cocaine, and $3,252 in cash.
