3 Baby Bunnies Rescued By New London Animal Control

Three baby bunnies had made their way down a cement staircase but weren't able to get back out.

NEW LONDON, CT — New London Animal Control has rescued three baby baby bunnies, according to a post on Facebook. The three baby bunnies went down a cement staircase but weren't able to get back out.

Their nest had been destroyed by a landscaping crew that had mowed the area, according to the post.

"Because these little ones were truly in need of rescue, we contacted Freedom First Wildlife Rehab Inc, who contacted a local person who specializes in buns," the post reads. "These 3 are now safely in the care of someone who can properly take care of them. Please be aware that the vast majority of buns in the nest DON'T ACTUALLY NEED HUMAN INTERVENTION!!!"
