3 Injured When Car Strikes Pedestrian, Building In New London
A 13-year-old child and two other people were injured in the Tuesday accident.

NEW LONDON, CT — Three people were injured when a car struck a 13-year-old child and a building Tuesday, according to police. The call came in at 2:30 at 320 S. Frontage St. reporting a car vs. pedestrian motor vehicle accident with injuries.
A car had traveled through a parking lot, struck a 13-year-old child, then struck the Harbor Freight building and a cement abutment.
Police said the child was transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The two people in the car were transported to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
