3 People Injured When Truck Hits New London Bank
Three people were injured when a truck struck a New London bank Tuesday night.
NEW LONDON, CT — Three people were injured when a pickup truck crashed into the Chelsea Groton Bank Building Tuesday night, The Day reported. Two of the three people in the car were seriously injured and taken to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital.
Police responded to the call at 9:44 p.m. for an accident at the building at Bank Street and Montauk Avenue. The truck struck a steel column, damaging the building's facade. A city building official responded and said that the building can be open for business on Wednesday, according to The Day.
