5-Car Pileup On New London Bridge Leaves 2 Injured
Two people were transported to the hospital following a Tuesday wreck.
NEW LONDON, CT — Two people were injured in a five-car pileup on the northbound span of the Gold Star Memorial Bridge on Tuesday afternoon, according to The Day. The two people injured were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The crash was reported at 3:08 p.m. by the Huntington Street entrance to the bridge, The Day reported. Lanes of the bridge were temporarily closed as the scene was cleared.
