2 Pedestrians Hit In New London Accident

NEW LONDON, CT — Police are investigating after two pedestrians were struck by a car at 50 Pequot Ave. They asked that people stay clear of the area as the accident is under investigation.

Both pedestrians were hit and the driver were transported to L+M Hospital as a result of the crash, which occurred at 12:07 p.m., according to police.

One person in the wreck suffered "significant injuries," police said. The area was secured and traffic detoured while police investigated.
