Cupcake Company To Open New London Store

NEW LONDON, CT - A Middletown cupcake company is has opened a New London location. NoRA Cupcake Company is bringing "creative and traditional cupcake flavors, beautiful custom cakes, vegan and gluten free friendly options, signature cookies, and other various treats."

According to their website: "We have taken our love of all foods, all beverages, small business, and supporting our farmers, brewers, artisans, and other local fellow entrepreneurs into a sweet business of creating cupcakes and other treats that showcase just that."

NoRA Cupcake Company says they're all about "Cake Life" and that they're thrilled to be opening a new location.

"We are so excited to open our next spot in Southeastern CT on the beautiful, historic, and fun Bank Street in Downtown New London!" NoRA wrote on their website. "We will be opening our door to the community tomorrow, Tuesday, March 5th from 5-9PM for our opening celebration. Stop in to say hello, check out our new space, and get that sugar! There is a wide selection of bars, restaurants, art galleries, cafes, and more in Downtown New London. We are so looking forward to being part of your events, your celebrations, and bringing that CAKE to Southeastern CT!"

The Middletown location opened in 2011 and the company has a cupcake truck that has appeared at a variety of local pop-up events across the region.
