MAKE A DIFFERENCE-SAVE A LIFE
Please share this with as many people as possible. There is someone out there who is a potential donor. We just have to find him or her.
Recently, John Guarino of Quaker Hill, Waterford, has been posting that he is in need of a Kidney Donor. I remember John, who was a student of mine at W.H.S., as a positive, optimistic young man who played soccer and performed in the band.

Sometime later, John again came into my life as my dedicated Mail Man. John is beloved by all the people on his route. One couldn’t ask for a more dependable, kind, considerate person.
Denise Yost, one of the customers he has served has said, “This request is for our beloved “postal delivery friend”. We met him upon moving into this house a couple years ago. We quickly learned that no finer postal worker existed than John. He is caring, efficient, responsible, communicates well, loves music (and has come to our gigs) and is simply overall an amazing man. He has befriended the adults, children and pets on his route. We adore him for his caring ways.”

His Facebook page contains evidence of his complete devotion to his wife Diana and his children. He loves to garden and especially to fish. He has a delightfully quirky sense of humor illustrated in his many costumes and beard growing for December- Santa time.
John has said that if someone steps up to consider this donation, “I will do everything in my power to keep a new kidney functioning properly by following all the guidelines and restrictions.”
John, himself, will never be able to repay you, but this act of kindness will bring you untold rewards in self-satisfaction and knowing you have made a difference.

As John Bunyan has said, “You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.”
“When there is an organ donor,
Life springs from Death,
Sorrow turns to Hope,
And a Terrible Loss becomes a Gift!”
