Fun at East Lyme Touch a Truck
The Eleventh Annual Touch-A-Truck, co-sponsored by the East Lyme Auxiliary of Child and Family Agency and the East Lyme Parks and Recreation Department, will be held on Saturday, October 13, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at McCook Point Park in Niantic.
Face Painting is always fun, and among the favorites are the beloved Fairy Princess, the ever so happy Clowns, and the scary Pirates. Barbara Mingo and her team will delight with Hair Beads, Hair Spray Painting, and Tattoos! Spray Hair Painting with optional long strands of beautiful hair beads are enjoyed by both the girls and the boys.
The Activities Committee is chaired by Tom and Ruth Hammell with assistants Karen Peacock and Sue Ramsey. They will have numerous age appropriate activities that include the "famous" bubble table and a visit from "Gary, the Balloon Man" who will create the whimsical balloons each child desires.
