Furniture Retailer May Return To New London: Report

NEW LONDON, CT — A furniture retailer that previously occupied a space on Colman Street may be returning to New London, as reported by the New London Day.

According to the New London Day, a Bob’s Discount Furniture retail showroom is expected to occupy a building proposed for construction at 389 Frontage Road. A proposed site plan is expected to go before the city's Planning and Zoning Commission this week.

According to their website, Bob’s Discount Furniture has a number of locations throughout Connecticut, including stores in Niantic, Manchester, Newington and Southington.
