Grand Marshal Named For New London St. Patrick's Day Parade

NEW LONDON, CT — The New London St. Patrick's Day Committee recently announced that Donna Marie “Sullivan” Vendetto will serve as the Grand Marshal for this year's parade, the New London Day reported.

According to the Day, Vendetto is a lifelong resident of New London who worked for the school district as a teacher and a school administrator for over three decades. She has since retired.

The parade will also be dedicated to the memory of Vendetto's recently-deceased brother, Wayne, according to the Day.

According to the event Facebook page, the parade will take place Sunday, March 11, at 1 p.m.
