Mourning the Loss of Robert 'Bob' Nenna
The City of New London announced the passing of retired New London firefighter Robert Nenna. Service info from Nenna's obituary is below.

The City of New London, Connecticut honored Robert 'Bob' Nenna, Sr., after his passing.
"It is with deep regret and sadness that we announce the passing of retired NL firefighter and past chair and current member of the Parks & Recreation commission Robert (Bob) Nenna," the city stated via Facebook. "A consummate Whaler, Bob also coached the NLHS Football team, among his many other contributions to his city. Bob will be missed by many in the Whaling City."
Nenna was 79-years-old. He passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2016. He was the son of the late Anthony and Emily (Eillas) Nenna and the husband of Mary (Long) Nenna.
Nenna served on the New London Fire Department.

- 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at the Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London
- Funeral: Friday, April 22, then to a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church
