New London Advances to American Legion U19 Baseball Regionals

NEW LONDON, CT - After a perfect weekend of shutout pitching, the New London U19 American Legion baseball team has advanced to the Northern Regional bracket of the state tournament.

Berlin, the sixth seed, blanked Norwich 1-0 in the sectional opener Saturday, then shut out Enfield 4-0 Sunday to earn a berth in the regionals. They will take on No. 3 Niantic Wednesday at 7 p.m.
