New London High School Remains Near Top of Girls Basketball Poll

The Whalers have won their first eight outings this season.

NEW LONDON, CT — Capital Prep retained its position atop the girls basketball polls in the latest weekly balloting by members of the Connecticut sports media.

Despite a Sunday loss to powerful Rutgers Prep in New Jersey, the Trailblazers continue to dominate state teams, winning every in-state regular season game for more than five years.
