New London Holds Top Spot in Girls Basketball Poll

The Whalers are one of just two remaining unbeaten girls teams in Connecticut.

NEW LONDON, CT — For the third straight week, New London High School was the top choice among media voters in the weekly Connecticut girls basketball poll.

The Whalers received 12 of 15 first-place votes after improving to 15-0 this season.
