New London to Host City’s First Restaurant Week in 2017

NEW LONDON, CT - New London will officially hold the city’s first restaurant week next month, as reported by The Day.

New London Restaurant Week will take place from January 16 to 22, during what is traditionally a slow time for restaurants, The Day reported. The event is being seen as a supplement to Main Street's popular food strolls in the spring and fall.

Restaurants are being asked to put in $200 annually to help promote the event, according to The Day. The week is being billed as a way to enjoy "fine dining at an affordable price."
