New London to Host Day in Honor of NBA Draft Pick Kris Dunn
The 2012 New London High graduate will enjoy a day in his honor to celebrate his drafting by the NBA.
NEW LONDON, CT – The city will recognize 2016 NBA Draft pick Kris Dunn with special ceremonies Thursday, according to The Day.
Dunn is a 2012 graduate of New London High School, as well as Providence College, according to The Day. He was selected fifth overall in this year’s draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves.
All New London public school students can meet Dunn in Conway Gymnasium at 2:30 p.m., The Day reported. A special ceremony will then be held at 4:30 p.m. at Ocean Beach Park, featuring distinguished guests that include Mayor Michael Passero.
