New London July 4th Fireworks: 2018 Guide
Here's your complete guide to Fourth of July fireworks shows, parades and other festive events in and near New London.
NEW LONDON, CT — Sailfest 2018, Southeastern Connecticut’s premiere summertime event, will be held July 13-15. Complete with a major fireworks display, amusement rides, free entertainment, ships and over 200 vendors lining the streets, Sailfest is an annual favorite.
There will be plenty to see, buy, and eat, so make sure to come hungry and ready to try new food! Throughout New London’s waterfront park and nearby streets, you’ll find:
- a large number of live musical acts
- locally hand-made crafts, art, clothing and jewelry for sale from over 200 vendors lining the streets
- plenty of delicious food for everyone’s tastes, including ice cream, jerky, frozen lemonade, tamales, beef-fat fries and crepes
Fireworks start at approximately 9 p.m. and will be choreographed to music on K-Hits 100.9 FM.
