New London Middle School Administrator Placed On Leave

NEW LONDON, CT — A New London school administrator has been placed on administrative leave, according to The New London Day. Janet Farquhar, the assistant director of Bennie Dover Jackson Middle School, was placed on leave Tuesday.

School officials did not comment on why she was placed on leave. Farquhar, 51, of 18 Race Rock Road in Waterford, was charged Sunday in East Lyme for operating under the influence and failure to drive right, The New London Day reported.

She was released on $500 bond and is due in New London Superior Court June 9.
