New London Paving Project Begins Thursday
The city will be beginning a paving project on local streets.

NEW LONDON, CT - The City of New London announces upcoming milling and paving efforts in the city.
Beginning Thursday May 30, 2019, starting at 7:00 AM contractors will begin the process of milling certain streets in City. The following streets will be milled for repaving:

- Bayonet St. (from Coleman St. to 310 Bayonet St.)
- Briggs St. (from Norwood Ave. to Vauxhall St.)
- Bank St. (from Howard St. to Sparyard St.)
This process should not create major traffic impediments as the milled surface will allow for the continuation of the normal flow of traffic. The milling process has taken into consideration and will limit traffic disruptions for the morning and afternoon Electric Boat commuters.
Upon the completion of the milling process the roads will be repaved starting in the Bank Street area.
