New London Police Investigate Armed Robbery
Police are seeking help investigating at robbery. A woman reported that her purse was stolen at gunpoint near Bank and Blinman Streets.
New London Police are investigating an armed robbery reported on December 18 at about 9 p.m. According to police, the robbery occurred at the intersection of Bank and Blinman Streets. The victim reported that a man wearing a ski mask stole her purse at gunpoint.
The suspect is described as African-American, about 5 foot 7 inches tall, wearing gray sweatpants and a sweatshirt. His face was covered with a ski mask. The handgun was silver in color. The suspect fled in the direction of Reed Street. No one was injured in the attack.
