New London Releases Trick-Or-Treat Guidelines
The city has released guidelines for how families can stay safe during the holiday.

NEW LONDON, CT — The city has released guidelines for trick-or-treating based on recommendations by local, state, and federal public health entities.
According to a statement from the city: "The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic requires all of us to take steps to keep ourselves, our families, and our communities safe and healthy: wear our masks, wash our hands frequently, and maintain social distancing. As a result, we will need to celebrate many fall traditions differently this year, including Halloween."
The guidelines state that residents avoid what the CDC refers to as "higher risk activities" and that the ability to social distance and use face coverings is especially important.
