New Restaurant Offers New York-Style Pizza In New London

NEW LONDON, CT - A new restaurant in New London is serving up thin crust pizza at an affordable cost, according to the New London Day. Napolitano’s Pizza offers customers New York-style pizza in an area that has mainly served up Greek pies over the years.

The 18-seat eatery at 221 Bank Street is run by husband-and-wife team Kelly and Victor Ruiz, according to the New London Day. The two were looking to bring real thin crust pizza reminiscent of New York along with affordable Italian cuisine to the downtown area of New London. The couple's pizzas are hand-tossed and cooked on a stone, a style different from those who typically cook wood-fired New York-style pizzas, according to the New London Day. The restaurant also offers delivery and take-out, and will be rolling out different specials and menu items as the area gets to know Napolitano’s Pizza better.
