Popular New London County Judge Dies At 68
Known as "The People's Judge," Kevin McMahon served on the bench since 1993.
NEW LONDON, CT - Superior Court Judge Kevin McMahon died Monday at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital after suffering from rheumatoid arthritis and other health issues, The Day reported. McMahon, 68, was known was known as "The People's Judge" for his fairness and understanding.
McMahon, who was a native of New Britain, became a prosecutor before being appointed as a judge in 1993. Many people McMahon worked with remembered him for his kindness and unique sense of humor.
