Senator Somers Hosts New England Music Hall of Fame induction

It was a crisp New England Fall day at the Shaboo Stage in Willimantic, Ct on October 18th. Co-Founder of the Shaboo Inn David “Lefty” Foster, Co-Founder Bruce John, Christine “The Beehive Queen” Ohlman, and Cliff Goodwin took the stage to not only be inducted to the New England Music Hall of Fame www.newenglandmusichof.com but to perform for a cause. Senator Heather Somers https://ctsenaterepublicans.com/home-somers/ who has been such a great supporter and humanitarian in our community co-hosted the inaugural induction which is one of five inductions due to the pandemic. She was recently made a honorary goodwill ambassador for the New England Music Hall of Fame. “It was such a joy to have Senator Somers at this induction she really is all about community we are honored to also have her as a goodwill ambassador” said co-founder Angel Orsini.

Co-founder of the New England Music Hall of Fame and Ambassador to the Massachusetts Blues Hall of fame stated “The Shaboo historically was the heart that pumped the musical talent in veins of New England. The Shaboo embodies what our vision is. As they were more than just a venue they were a movement and an experience. Both Bruce John and Lefty Foster inspired us to continue keep the flow of what that dream was.” Sunday and mentioned how the New England music family is the foundation of the New England Music Hall of fame. The induction was dedicated to both Tommy Bonnano and Harry Crossman two beloved individuals who were great supports of New England and its music.
