Teen Charged With Criminal Trespassing In New London
A teen was arrested for criminal trespassing after he was found in the backyard of a home early Monday morning, according to police.
NEW LONDON, CT — A juvenile has been arrested in connection with a trespassing incident. Police received a call Monday at 4:01 a.m. from a home in the area of Montauk and Gardner avenues reporting that that two unknown males were in the backyard.
Police responded and were able to make contact with a 16-year-old who attempted to evade police. The second male was not found.
The teen was charged with third-degree criminal trespassing and interfering with an officer.

Police said that the south end of the city has seen a considerable uptick in burglaries, larcenies, and criminal mischiefs recently.
