Waterfront Restaurant Proposed For New London Pier: Report

NEW LONDON, CT — Restaurant Consultants Inc. President Frank Maratta has pitched a plan for a waterfront restaurant and oyster bar on Custom House Pier, the New London Day reported. He is currently attempting to negotiate a lease for the space with the city.

According to the New London Day, Maratta said envisions Whaling City Dock as a seasonal, casual restaurant that would serve lunch and dinner, as well as cocktails. The restaurant would feature a seafood menu with a barbeque smoker and an oyster bar.
