1 Injured In Rollover Crash In Shelton: FD

SHELTON, CT — A driver was injured Tuesday morning when the vehicle the person was operating rolled over down an embankment off of Route 8 northbound in Shelton, according to officials with Echo Hose Hook & Ladder Co. 1.

The driver had to be extricated from the vehicle, which had come to rest 30 feet down the embankment near Exit 12.

Information on the driver's injuries was not available, but the Connecticut Post reported that the person was in stable condition at the scene.

Tuesday's rollover was the second such crash on Route 8 in the past two days. On Sunday, fire officials wrote that there was one northbound near Exit 13.
