3 Shelton Officers Fired: Report
Those fired included the police union president and vice president.

SHELTON, CT — Three Shelton police officers have been fired, including the police union president and vice president.
Officers John Napoleone and Michael McClain and Lt. Dave Moore were fired Monday for dereliction of duty, according to the New Haven Register. McClain and Napoleone were the subject of an internal affairs investigation performed by Moore. The investigation cleared them of wrongdoing, but Chief Shawn Sequeira said it covered up some information.
The investigation involved the two officers’ response to an alleged domestic violence situation that involved a now-fired Bridgeport police Officer Steven Figueroa. Figueroa was later charged with first-degree sexual assault.
