Another River Road Crash Sends Victim To Hospital
It's the second crash within 24 hours on River Road that sent at least one victim to the hospital.
SHELTON, CT — Another crash on River Road in Shelton sent a victim to the hospital. The latest crash occurred around 12:30 p.m. Thursday near 785 River Road.
A car sustained heavy front-end damage and one person was transported to the hospital, according to the Shelton Herald.
River Road had been the site of numerous serious accidents. Just Wednesday two vehicle occupants were severely injured after being hit by a suspected intoxicated driver, according to police.

Lily Pirulli, 20, of Monroe, and Adrian Miles, 31, of Ansonia were killed and another was seriously injured in a Feb. 9 crash on River Road. The crash remains under investigation.
An April 2018 crash killed Shalymar Herrera, 18, Briana Torres-Carter, 23. Torres-Carter was eight months pregnant and her fetus died as well. The crash was caused when two cars were racing, according to police.
