Car Crushed, Home Damaged By Fallen Tree In Shelton: FD

SHELTON, CT — A fallen tree crushed the roof of a car and damaged a home in Shelton Tuesday, according to officials with the Eagle Hose & Hook & Ladder Co.

No injuries were reported in the incident, in which firefighters from Derby and Ansonia assisted.

"The vehicle sustained moderate damage, and the house sustained a small hole in the roof but still structurally sound," officials wrote on Facebook.
